CAD-3D software connection

DriverCAD, an add-on module of CAMplus, is the software to import “STEP” and “ACIS-SAT” formats from CAD-3D programs, such as Autodesk Inventor, Solidworks, etc. It is possible to load both individual pieces and complete assemblies. Through guided procedures, automatically recognises machining operations. With DriverCAD, machining entering times are reduced, and thus the possibility of making mistakes. The Plus version allows the user to define, and automatically call up, a customisation of the machining operations applied by the DriverCAD module, introducing technological concepts specific to its field of application that allow better workpiece execution. The Terminal Server version (in which both software and data are installed only on the server) offers the advantage of simplified maintenance, faster operation and flexible use, including from outside via the Internet, provided the maximum number of concurrent users is not exceeded.
