Phantomatic  S3 First Edition

CNC machining centre, with 4 controlled axes, designed for machining bars or parts made of aluminium, PVC, light alloys in general or steel up to 2 mm. It is provided with a fixed automatic tool magazine on the left-hand side of the machine, with 5 places, with provision for accepting a side milling cutter, in order to be able to machine on 5 faces of the workpiece. An additional magazine on the right-hand side doubles the tool availability. Works bars up to 6 m long, using the optional extended machining function. The 4th NC axis allows the electrospindle to rotate from -15° to +195° and position itself at any intermediate angle. The machine can therefore perform machining operations on the top and side faces of the profile at any angle within the range. All CNC axes are absolute and do not require resetting upon restarting the machine. Moreover it is equipped with a movable work plane which facilitates workpiece loading/unloading and considerably increases the machinable section.
